The mission of St. John's Community Church is to be a vital community church. To fulfill its mission, the church must also preserve and protect the historic church building. The church is run by a non-profit organization dedicated to its preservation and wise, productive use. Donations toward that end are gratefully accepted. Donations can be made via the offering during a service or by contacting the Lindaburys, as noted below.
The church can be made available for weddings and other events. For more information or to inquire about using the church for your event, please email Peter Lindabury or Vicki Lindabury or call them at (315) 469 8435.
Note: There is now a bathroom in the church, with a composting toilet. That alone is worth a visit!

Driving Directions
Laporte is a small town, and the church is at the corner of Beech and Cherry Streets. From Main Street, (Rt. 42), make a turn on Beech Street up the hill (no matter which direction you are coming from). The church is at the top of the hill on the left. See also the map below. There is parking on the street next to and in front of the church.
Note: Please do not park in front of the house on the corner diagonally across from the church.
